The Ranch at Laguna Beach

Played another round at The Ranch at Laguna Beach Golf Course recently and honestly forgot how nice this course really is. The layout is fun to play, the course conditions were really solid, and the scenery around the property makes the whole experience feel super relaxing. It’s a nice change from a lot of crowded courses that feel rushed all the time. The staff around the clubhouse were friendly and everything moved at a really smooth pace throughout the day. After the round we stayed for a little while just enjoying the atmosphere because the setting is hard to beat. Definetly one of our favorite places to golf when we’re down in Laguna Beach.

Everything about our stay has been amazing. The staff especially has made this stay extra special. From the surprise birthday gifts to my son's welcome gift even when he was feeling sick....they were nice enough to call my room and bring him some get well snacks and a cute stuffed animal. Top notch staff! Thanks everyone at The Ranch for making my birthday celebration extra special. We plan to return !!!!

Spent some time at The Ranch at Laguna Beach Golf Course again recently and had a really great day out there. The course was in great condition and everything just felt really peaceful from the moment we arrived. The views around the canyon area make the whole round feel more relaxed compared to other courses. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the pace of play stayed smooth the whole time which made it even better. We grabbed a drink afterward and just hung out for a bit because the setting is honestly that nice. It’s one of those places you don’t get tired of going back to.

Fantastic staff, service, food, and amenities. Beautiful scenery and perfect location. If you are looking for excellent service, staff, food, and amenities this is the place! Service and staff: truly top notch. Every team member, every department, every aspect. The spa massage was heavenly. Harvest Restaurant is a 5 Star experience. Lost Pier Cafe also excellent. Wedding and reception staff and facilities are the best of the best. Housekeeping on point. Golf cart staff to help move you about when needed are amazing. There is something to note about the rooms, which is the reason I rated 4 instead of 5 stars. The bed was perfection comfort wise; but the only option within our budget was a king size bed. This meant we would have needed to upgrade well above the special group rate to accommodate our needs. It ended up ok because I was staying with a family member but for the price would definitely have appreciated separate beds. Our room could have used a bit of freshening/updating in the way of modern amenities like a functional bedside clock and updated USB ports. The hair dryer was about 10 years old and is probably on its last legs because of the noise and lack of drying capacity. The bathroom was very clean but had a noticeable and strong musty smell. This made the difference in my rating. Perhaps not all rooms have these issues though. I would definitely return if my budget allow$ it.

This was our anniversary weekend. The Ranch did not disappoint. The location is beautiful. The scenery has to be seen to appreciate just how perfect itnis. The staff (all of them) went above and beyond. This was a great weekend.

We were recently at the ranch to celebrate our anniversary of 48 years. They exceeded all our expectations. The room was comfortable. The staff was always helpful, friendly people on the grounds were always saying hi to each other. We had our anniversary dinner at the harvest, it was beyond amazing, fresh ingredients, delicious food. By the way, the last slice of apple pie is truly delicious. You need to try it.! We walked to the beach we took the farm tour. I was so surprised by all that they’re doing farm to table food. It was really incredible to see all the work going into that. My husband wants to come back and play golf. I would love to come back another time and stay longer. Thank you to all the staff there we really enjoyed our couple of days away.

The property is beautiful, super peaceful, and everything feels really well taken care of from the rooms to the grounds. We spent time at the golf course and around the resort and everything was just really relaxing. The staff was friendly and always helpful, and the whole stay felt smooth from check-in to check-out. Definitely one of those places we’ll keep coming back to when we need a little getaway.

Had a great time for my birthday stay. Harvest was superb. Nassau was an amazing waiter and took care of us all night. Shout out to Pierre for the fresh Uni. It was delicious.

Hidden gem!! The views are spectacular!! Beautiful 9 hole course!! The restaurant is delish. Great staycation!! We’ll be back!!
