Gay Saunas & Bathhouses in Los Angeles
Los Angeles once had a whole circuit of gay bathhouses, and while several long-timers have closed in recent years, a handful of men's spa and cruise venues are still going strong.
North Hollywood Spa in the San Fernando Valley is the city's main surviving 24-hour bathhouse, with a sauna, steam room, gym and garden sundeck. FLEX Spas Los Angeles on Melrose Avenue is a members-only men's spa with an outdoor pool, sauna and steam. For a drier, fetish-leaning night, Slammer near Silver Lake is a long-running men's cruise club built around dark rooms rather than pools.
