About this place Deauville Beach Resort

The Deauville Beach Resort, a Miami Beach "Grande-Dame" hotel, has decades of American history and cultural significance baked into its bones. In the 1960s, this was a glamorous spot, hosting celebrities and cultural figures, making it a genuine landmark. Today, it still welcomes LGBTQ+ travelers looking for a place with personality and prestige in one of America's most popular gay destinations. You'll find it at 6701 Collins Avenue on Miami Beach. This is a full-service resort, so you've got everything on-site, plus you're close to the beaches, restaurants, and clubs. Miami Beach is known for its welcoming LGBTQ+ community and year-round warm weather, and the Deauville fits right in, celebrating all kinds of travelers. Its long history as a place for creative and cultural types gives it a certain something that most hotels just don't have. If you're in Miami Beach for Pride, a beach trip, or just to check out the gay scene, staying somewhere with this much history means you're part of that legacy. They say it's "more than just a hotel," and they're right – it's got a unique place in Miami Beach's cultural story. For LGBTQ+ travelers who like a bit of historic charm with their modern comforts, this is a solid pick, even in a city with plenty of choices.

The truth is that everyone at the hotel was very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is in dire need of renovation, and the staff unfortunately wasn't very friendly. We had booked a room with a balcony but unfortunately received the wrong room without one. When we inquired about it, we were rudely dismissed. Otherwise, the hotel was very clean. We didn't have breakfast because it had to be booked separately and was very expensive.

The wifi does not reach all the rooms well and remove all the parasites that bother the entrance
