Zion Mountain Ranch

our stay at Zion mountain ranch was something we will cherish forever. from the views, the great hospitality and overall experience this ranch offers is a must!! the location is perfect if you don’t want to stay in the tourist town - still easily accessible to Zion with views for miles. The ranch truly felt like we were at home, thank yall for sharing that with us!

We LOVED it! Mainly the animals. We saw and played with like 20 animals in our first hour on the ranch. Our 6&9 yr old kids had much fun! ZMR property is so lovely, and everyone who works there is so friendly and down to earth. Highly recommend booking the horseback ride and the UTV ride to the slot canyon (via East Zion Adventures) those made it all extra iconic. 100% would return to ZMR!

I can’t think of a thing they didn’t do right. It was a bit of a pain having to go to the restaurant every time we wanted ice, but other than that it was all good.!

Great location, just minutes from Zion National Park gate. Cabin was super clean, quiet, and peaceful with a friendly and accommodating staff. We look forward to returning and will definitely stay here.

We would stay here again in a minute. The location is absolutely beautiful and the property is more than just a hotel room. It’s an experience with great Pyrenees dogs, chickens, ponies horses, and roaming buffalo. We stayed in cabin 112 which wouldn’t get many views on Airbnb, but it was clean and comfortable and secluded. Staff was friendly and helpful. I will also say that there was a surprising amount of options on TV. Well, I can’t speak for the whole property. Our unit had DirecTV and a host of streaming service services, including YouTube Disney+, and Netflix. Honestly, I’m guessing that some people never signed out of their account and we benefited. The property is a half hour at most to Zion base camp.

Absolutely wonderful place in a stunning landscape. I travel a lot, and I dislike so many lodging locales, but this place connected with me in a really deep way. After a hectic arrival in Las Vegas, and a harrowing drive through a sandstorm, I cannot understate how nice it was to reach this incredible place. The cabin was very well appointed and comfortable—and the hosts really thought ahead in terms of amenities and conveniences. We arrived, thoroughly exhausted,in the middle of the night, and woke up the next morning to the peace of this magnificent setting. The property is just a few minutes from the Zion entrance, but also not far from Bryce. But the Ranch’s own grounds are absolutely worth exploring! The onsite restaurant is farm to table—like, literally, outside the door, and was excellent. Menu changes all the time, who can means it’s always a reflection of exactly what is growing and grazing on the land outside the restaurant door. This stood out as the best restaurant we visited traveling across the entire stretch from Zion to Capitol Reef. On clear nights, the sky is just magnificent. I seriously plan on timing a future visit to align with a new moon. I also want to stay here in the winter. The owners are incredibly helpful, and have tons of excellent knowledge and advice on local trails, etc. Cabins are equipped with whatever WiFi, TV, etc. you might need, but I honestly never once used any of it. Lastly, meeting the working Great Pyrenees (incl. puppies) was one more experience that highlighted the unique nature of what the family here has built. I want to return and spend a whole week here—because of the place itself—and it’s only a handful of times in the course of my life that I’ve felt that way about a place I’ve stayed.

I got to go horse riding but I wouldn’t recommend the restaurant that’s there because we had to wait over an hour for our food while the place didn’t have many other people

Cabin 223 is beautiful and has lots of windows to enjoy the view! All ranch team members were pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. The ranch animals are fun to see and interact with. The restaurant is outstanding. Highly recommend the sunset bison feeding — fun for all ages and get to enjoy a beautiful sunset!
