President Abraham Lincoln Springfield - a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel

Great service and location, but this hotel is quite dystopian, especially the pool. The pool was somewhat terrifying. This place ain’t gonna make it.

Guin & Kyle at the front desk are the best! They were kind, cordial & very helpful. They went above & beyond to tend to our every need, I’ll be coming back here whenever I’m in town….. especially for the cookies!

Excellent stay at President Abraham Lincoln Springfield - a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel. The hotel offers a comfortable and elegant atmosphere with a fantastic downtown Springfield location close to restaurants, museums, and historic attractions. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with modern amenities and relaxing décor throughout the stay. The staff members were friendly, professional, and welcoming from check-in to check-out. I especially appreciated the beautiful lobby and the warm DoubleTree cookie at arrival, which added a thoughtful touch to the experience. The hotel felt organized, clean, and professionally maintained in every area. Parking and access to nearby attractions were also convenient and easy to manage. This is definitely one of the best hotel options for visitors exploring Springfield and the surrounding historic sites.

Gwen at the front desk was extremely courteous and helpful with updating my reservations, even though the issues were caused by my mistake (mistakenly booked the reservation through a 3rd party vendor website). I will book reservations exclusively at the Abraham Lincoln Hotel when in Springfield, IL, because of Gwen's helpfulness.

Super Clean Hotel

Bathrooms need updating, and the biggest problem is the parking. Attached to it is the parking garage and convention center, and while it's listed as hotel parking and convention parking, it is not owned by the hotel. So getting in and out with the scan thing provided by the hotel NEVER worked, and that's what happened for everyone in our conference. Everyone had a problem with the parking, and had to sit there and buzz for an attendant to come. And the hotel was zero help, and were happy to repeat that they didn't own it, so they couldn't help. We understood that, so we were merely trying to ask them to bring this up to the parking people with whom they clearly have some business agreement or arrangement for their guests. If their guests aren't getting the agreed upon service, I thought they would like to know so they could forward that feedback to the company. But, clearly not, lol The bathrooms in the room look dated, like cracked floors, etc.
