Join us for a FREE (or donate what you can) adults-only comics reading and fundraiser benefiting the Pittsburgh Indie Expo (PIE)
PIE is getting spicy!
We’re bringing together some of our favorite local and indie cartoonists for a night of comics that are a little too spicy for our usual all-ages programming. Expect stories that are sexy, messy, weird, romantic, raunchy, hilarious, and everything in between, projected big on the screen and read live by the artists who made them.
Never been to a comics reading? Think storytime, but for grown-ups. Artists project their comics on screen while reading and performing them live, so we get to laugh, gasp, blush, and experience them together.

Plus, we’ll have special spicy PIE merch and live spicy (or silly!) drawing commissions, and fun activities throughout the night.
And it’s all for a good cause! PIE is a free, volunteer-run celebration of independent comics, zines, small press, animation, and games. Proceeds from A Slice of Spice will help us keep PIE free and accessible to the community.
