We stayed at the Press because we wanted somewhere nice for our wedding weekend that was under the marriott umbrella Service - 1. wrote the team a note about how were getting married that weekend - never responded 2. Was offered 2p checkout, but isn’t it supposed to be 4p for Titanium? Didn’t feel like arguing with the front desk Marriott Status - somehow removed my member number during check in and none of the benefits (breakfast + drinks) were given. Found out about the disconnect after noticing that the stay was no longer on my app half thru the stay. This made it difficult to use all the benefits. Food - pretty bad here. 1. Burnt pancakes for room service - inedible (pictured) 2. Tried the breakfast in person during checkout day - entire meal was a gigantic cluster. FOH seemed way understaffed 3. Wife wanted a Maine Lunch on tap, but they couldn’t get the draft to work after we ordered and seemed unbothered regarding the inconvenience. Just one of many countless wastes of money at The Press as the second choice drink went unused 4. No lobby coffee for guests - is that not a thing anymore??? Rooms 1. Bed is very comfortable and bathrooms are great 2. Room had what felt like a “bubble” in the floor near the bed (room 503 + pictured) Pull up the rug to find the flooring just abruptly ends??? Is this a Fairfield Inn? 3. Mini bar wasnt restocked despite it being part of the “resort fee”- had to call down 4. Fridge condenser was loud and we had to reach behind the counter and unplug during the night Overall - happy to pay the amount of money to stay at the Press, but expect more than an extended stay experience. If you’re going to charge $700-1000 a night, than deliver on that cost. If folks want to experience Old Port, I can guarantee that can you do better than here.

5 star service, good location, but some flaws in the room pushed my rating down a bit unfortunately, because the staff was incredible! Flaws in the room included low sound insulation for outside noise, AC that’s struggled to go below 70, and glass door to bathroom with street light that shined into the bathroom window and into the room.

Having stayed at several Autograph hotels, this one didn’t feel all that special. While it was nice, for the price, I expected more. We had to king corner suites, and even though the rooms were right on top of each other, they were kitted out differently. One had roller shades, the other drapes. One had a bowl of amenities on the desk, while the other had none. One had an illuminated magnifying mirror while the other had nothing. On top of that, the downstairs was blocked off for a private event the entire two days we were there. Even though I was told to go see the art gallery downstairs. However the valet guys were fantastic, they chatted us up every time we walked out the door and had great recommendations.

nice location, nice lobby. check in was straightforward and friendly. price does not include any snacks / breakfast but does have free delicious coffee in the morning. bathrooms are great with spacious layout and great water pressure. the three star rating is because the King bed and the pullout couch had the worst mattresses I have ever experienced in a hotel. my son could not comfortably use the pull out couch mattress (legit painful) so we all had to sleep together which was suboptimal. PLEASE upgrade your mattresses

Lot of potential with this Hotel but there is a lack of oversight and investment. We would stay again for the location and the pleasant staff. Valet was the best part. The valet staff are super friendly.

This was just average. Nothing exceptional to merit the high price, especially for a view of a parking garage. Only parking available is valet at $55/day. And don’t plan on sleeping in. Check out is at noon but housekeeping will knock on your door at 8 asking if they can clean.
