Give your writing the space it needs to grow. This six-week lab helps you make meaningful progress while receiving immediate, actionable feedback. Through dedicated writing time and structured critique, you’ll generate and refine new work each week leaving with stronger pages, clearer direction, and writing momentum.
Give your writing the space it needs to take shape and to keep going. This six-week writing lab is designed to help you make meaningful progress on your work-in-progress while receiving immediate, actionable feedback.
Each session combines dedicated writing time with structured peer and instructor feedback, allowing you to generate new material and refine it in real time. Whether you’re working on a novel, memoir, essay, or short story project, this course offers a consistent rhythm of creation and friendly critique to help you stay accountable and deepen your craft.
By the end of the six weeks, you’ll have stronger pages, clearer direction, and writing momentum you can sustain beyond the class.
Class Goals:
Consistent weekly progress on their manuscript
Immediate, constructive feedback on new pages
Greater clarity around structure, voice, and direction
Tools to revise efficiently without losing momentum
A stronger sense of accountability and creative rhythm
Access Program
Our Access Program offers writing class and seminar tuitions at a reduced rate. Most writing classes have at least one access spot available.Please apply here for access rate tuition. Contact Susan Moore at susan@literary-arts.org if you have questions.
Liaison position
Every in-person class and seminar at Literary Arts has one liaison position. Liaisons perform specific duties for each class meeting. If you are a liaison for a class or seminar, the full amount of your tuition is covered by Literary Arts.
