Linden Row Inn

Great location in downtown Richmond, loved the historic row houses. Best part was the hotel cat Annabelle.

Stayed here last week, and it was an amazing choice! The Inn is charming, with lots of historical touches even in the rooms! The landscape is gorgeous and makes you feel right at home. There is a cat named Annabel who lives at the Inn, and she was an adorable surprise.

We recently stayed at Linden Row Inn for my cousin’s wedding, and it was a fantastic experience. The garden area is absolutely stunning and served as the perfect backdrop for the ceremony—it truly feels like a hidden gem in the heart of Richmond. The historic charm of the rooms and the property itself made for a very memorable stay. The only "pro-tip" I’d offer for future guests—especially those with mobility challenges—is to be aware of the parking layout. The garage is behind the building, and since the side gate is latched from the inside, you do have to walk the block to the front entrance. As two handicap placard holders, this was a bit of a trek after a 5-hour drive. That being said, the staff was great and the venue is unmatched for a wedding. We would definitely recommend it for the atmosphere and the beautiful garden setting!

A beautifully restored historical gem, right in the center of the city, and within walking distance to so many great restaurants and other attractions and historical sites. We stayed in a parlor suite that was stunningly gorgeous. The Ceilings were incredibly high with floor to ceiling windows that let in the sunlight, and the antique furniture and fireplaces set the scene perfectly. It felt like we had gone back in time and were living in the Gilded Age for a really reasonable price! The staff was very courteous and helpful, and 10/10 would stay here again.

The Linden Row Inn carries a charm and coziness that is unmatched. The moment you walk through the doors you begin to experience the warmth and character - from the front sitting room to being greeted by Annabelle, the Inn's cat. There's a calm and serenity that you can find sitting at one of the tables in the courtyard. As wonderful as the property is, the staff are just as great.

Wonderful one night stay at Linden Row Inn. Helpful, friendly staff. Cozy and comfortable room. Location was close to restaurants and Capital. So much better than the corporate feel of a big hotel chain.

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here and we won’t be back. It’s unfortunate because we love the theme and enjoy the antique decor. The Good: The beds are soft, the rooms are well soundproofed, & it’s fairly clean (3/5). The Bad: On BOTH visits the toilets have not worked. We are preparing to check out and we will have to stop somewhere else to use their restroom. I actually have to use the trash can bucket to fill it with water and then poor down the toilet to get it to flush and even then the water just turns a nasty grey color and is very slow. Additionally the rooms smell musty, the internet is iffy, and while the cleanliness is passable, there’s much to be desired due to hair in the sink, dirty bathroom floors, etc. There was no room phone to alert the office staff that the toilet is nonfunctional, and the night desk staff has a dismissive (but not outright rude) attitude. He watches tv on his phone and while he acknowledges you, he is barely communicative and seems annoyed. We will be choosing a different hotel from here out. For what I had to pay for this room (OVER $340, I should at LEAST not have to use a bucket to flush the toilet.
