About this place CAPITAL TRANS PRIDE 2016

Capital Trans Pride is an annual event in Washington DC, bringing together members, supporters, family, and friends of the transgender community. It’s part of the city’s larger Pride calendar, but this one carves out its own space specifically for trans people and their allies to gather, to be seen, and to stand together. DC has a lot going on for LGBTQ+ folks, with various groups and events year-round. But Trans Pride makes sure the transgender community is front and center. It’s a place built with trans experiences and points of view in mind, though everyone who supports them is welcome. Capital Pride organizes it. You can find more details on their events page. And if you’re coming to DC for this, the city has plenty of hotels, restaurants, and things to do that aren't related to the event, so it’s easy to make a longer trip out of it.

Food vendors on the street don't list prices and charge $22 for a hotdog. Just a hotdog. BEWARE. Capital Pride Alliance needs to put a stop to that and require food vendors list prices.

I was very disappointed. Paid for covered bleacher seats , but you failed to get the canopy over bleachers up. Accessibility guest and all who had paid were tightly grouped together for around a hour while they tried to put the canopy up. They gave up and had to move equipment out of the way. By that time the first 3 groups had pasted and we were still not in our seats in the sun. I know the bleachers were in place by 11:35 AM , the crew for canopy arrived just over a hour before the start of parade. Sad. Give us our money back jerry johnson
