I live like 1 hour driving and was looking for a relaxing chill long getaway weekend so I could recharge from a long work week and looking at the photos posted from this Place seemed like what I needed. Nature binding with the surrounding made it very much aligning for what I was looking for. Even though it was raining on the day of the check in I was able to take a nap and relax with the sound of the rain falling outside. Second day was showing a sunny day and I was looking to lay by the pool and enjoy a sun bathing but unfortunately that was not possible because they had an event scheduled and unannounced prior booking that tons of people would be at the place from noon to 4pm. No place to be inside the pool, neither an empty pool side chair were available, some pop up tents selling what I believe to be souvenirs and t shirts so for my disappointment I could not relax around the pool as I intended so I decided to get away from there while the event was happening. Losing a whole day that I was looking forward to be quiet and relaxing. They never mentioned to me before booking when I called to request those days that they would have an event and that the place would be packed with people from noon to 4pm. I would have not stayed there as I could have other options around there to stay that could offer what I paid for. So if you are coming here make sure to ask because you may not be suited to stay here. When the people left the event I went to the area to lay down but the sun was gone already so decided to go to the jacuzzi spa but when looking into the water the water was green and not looking clean and sanitary at all. Looked nasty. The room we got was fine with a promising bed and a large shower. But you would sync down into the mattress at night and the water flow from the shower head was very low and it would come and go not being a good pressure. I decided then to shower at the outside shower which had better pressure. The AC was like an old window AC and it would sound like a Diesel Tractor all night long making hard to fall asleep. They said they would offer drinks as complimentary around the common areas during our stay but for the time we could hang out in the common areas we did not see any drinks station or were offered any drinks. So not as posted on their site. Location was great because it was next to the bars, restaurants and clubs so a least we had something we could enjoy doing outside the “Resort”. Not a great experience in this location so I would not consider staying here again as the price was similar or even more than other places around this location.
