The food was okay, the Surinamese rice was good, the price was much higher than usual, but that's probably due to the live music. The volume was quite loud, making conversation difficult. The atmosphere was pleasant.

I ate the national dish (Chachupa) for about €18, which ultimately consisted of only vegetables with beans/chickpeas, meat on the bone, and fatty rind. There were also two thin slices of sausage and two small pieces of fish (each costing €1). I expected more for the price. The atmosphere was good, the music was great, but unfortunately, it was too loud to have a conversation (similar to a club). The service was attentive and good.

Quite overrated in my opinion; the food is okay but nothing special, the music is pleasant but the volume is quite loud. Definitely an experience worth having, but not the best for me.

They called us 5 minutes before the booking time to tell us that the table was not inside anymore as requested but outside without music. Deeply unprofessional. Very disappointed. Stay away.
