About this place Kigali Marriott Hotel

The Kigali Marriott, opened in 2016, is the most prominent international hotel in Rwanda and the reference point for LGBTQ+ visitors who want absolute certainty of professional standards. Marriott's global LGBTQ+ inclusive policies are consistently implemented across the brand, and the Kigali property — serving a clientele of international conference delegates, diplomatic visitors, and corporate travelers — operates to these standards as a matter of course. The 254-room property has a rooftop pool with city views, multiple restaurants, a well-equipped fitness center, and the Rwanda Convention Center attached. The KN 3 Rd location in Kiyovu puts it within easy reach of the Kimihurura social scene. The hotel lobby functions as one of Kigali's main social gathering points for the international community.

I must say, I didn’t expect Kigali to have such a pleasant hotel. I stayed at the Club Room and the Lounge was very good.
