Hilltop Boutique Hotel

Loved the place! We needed a room just for one night to get a quick tour on Mahe, but our plans would have failed badly, unless the hotel staff would have been so nice, flexible and helpful that for example managed to arrange a rent car on the spot. Highest praises to this lovely hotel!

There is relatively little accommodation available in the city itself. We were travelling at the last minute, so the options were very limited a week before arrival, so we chose this place for one night before our flight. We had luggage and decided to walk from the port - okay, it is possible, but you will sweat as the hotel is high up on a hill. I only recommend it for physically fit people in good shape, for your own comfort you should choose a taxi. Otherwise the hotel was fine, the staff was very nice and ordered a taxi in advance to take us to the airport (a very nice and intelligent older driver). I also liked the breakfast, but the air conditioning was weak and the problem was the noisy construction site next door, which was being worked on since morning. Since we only stayed here for one night, I didn't mind it, but I wouldn't want to wake up to it every morning. So I only recommend it for short-term accommodation, there is nothing to do and see in the city anyway. A big thank you to the gentleman at the reception who allowed us to leave our luggage at the reception and even use the shower before leaving for the airport. Humanity still survives in these parts of the world.

Hilltop Boutique Hotel ❤️ A very charming, family-run hotel with a beautiful view of the surrounding area. Very nice rooms, a very large bathroom. Peace and quiet. Delicious breakfasts. A wonderful, very family-run and welcoming hotel with a delicious breakfast prepared with love. Special mention goes to the young man at reception who is incredibly energetic, cheerful, and always smiling. I loved my stay here; the taxi service was also very punctual.

I thought our room was absolutely lovely. It was quite large, with a great bathroom. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is within easy walking distance, even from the city center. The only downsides: the walls were quite thin, and you could hear a lot of outside noise. The bed was rock hard; I've never slept so hard. The curtains on the windows were barely wide enough to block out the light, let alone thick enough to actually darken the room.

Very friendly staff, the hotel is impeccably maintained. We stayed for one night. The breakfast was also excellent.

We were really content with our stay. The room was clean and got cleaned every day by the staff. The breakfast included bread, pancakes, little caked, jam, honey, tea, coffee and different juices every day. For 15€ thats totally fine. My boyfriend got extra pancakes everyday. Really nice! Our airconditioning was not working on our last day but the hotel offered us immediatly another room, where we moved for our last night. They were really friendly and helped when we got a problem! We rented a car via the hotel. The car was automatic and brought us form A to B. There were no complications. The hotel itself was really clean and they put fresh flowers on the tables every day!! So beautiful! Come here you will like it a lot🥰

Very good hotel! We stayed for 3 nights and everything was fine. Nice staff which helped us out, refill water station for free, and they always brought more pancakes when we asked for it at breakfast. ;) There was a minor issue with the air conditioner at our last night, but they upgrade our room so it was absolutely no problem. As the name states, the hotel is upon a small but very steep hill. We rented an automatic car, so it was no problem. A very beautiful beach is only 10 minutes away. Overall we definitely can recommend the Hilltop Boutique Hotel! Greetings from Germany

Simple and affordable. Really nice staff. Rooms are good. Breakfast is also good. 10 minutes on foot from the city center
