Wonderful people ❤️ 💖 ♥️
"We had a fantastic stay at Cradle Mount Suites. The location was perfect—just a 2 min drive to Cradlestone Mall. The apartment was spotless and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The receptionist Barielle was friendly and professional. We loved the thoughtful touches like the coffee station. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!"
My husband and I booked a stay at Cradle Mount Hotel and Conference Centre to celebrate our anniversary, expecting a beautiful and relaxing experience based on the pictures advertised on the website. Unfortunately, this turned out to be one of the worst accommodation experiences we have ever had. When we arrived at reception, there was no one there to welcome us. After waiting for a while, a young lady eventually came to assist us, but it honestly felt like we had disturbed her from a nap. There was no warm welcome or hospitality, which immediately gave us a bad first impression. We were under the impression that we had booked a room in the main hotel. To our surprise, we were placed in a room outside the main building, in what looked and felt like someone’s outside quarters. It resembled a commune-style setup with a shared kitchen and sitting area, with several other rooms in the same house. This was never made clear when we made the booking. When we entered the room, the condition was extremely disappointing. The walls were dirty, and the door had visible gaps, meaning we could hear everything happening in the passage and neighbouring rooms. It honestly felt like people were inside our room whenever they walked past or spoke. The bathroom was also unacceptable. There was no curtain or blind on the bathroom window, which meant there was no proper privacy as people outside could potentially see inside. Another shocking issue was that we were told there was only one key for the room because the previous guests had lost the other one. We were warned that if we lost the key, we would not be able to get back into the room. This is completely unacceptable. If the hotel knew there was only one key, that room should not have been allocated to new guests until the issue was resolved. Because there was only one key available, our room was also not serviced on Saturday. Our room was not cleaned, we did not receive fresh towels, and our bed was not made. This made the stay even more uncomfortable and disappointing. To make matters worse, on Sunday morning we were woken up very early by extremely loud music. It sounded like there was a church service or some type of gathering happening nearby, with children singing loudly. The noise completely ruined what was supposed to be a peaceful anniversary getaway. Overall, the photos on the website are very misleading and do not reflect the reality of the accommodation we experienced. What was meant to be a special anniversary celebration turned into a very disappointing and frustrating stay. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing or quality hotel experience. My reply to the owner: Your response is completely inaccurate and misleading. The booking was not made after the check-in window check picture attached, booking was made on the 3rd of March and check-in was on the 6th of March. Stating that as fact is simply untrue! Using check-in times as an excuse to justify poor service is unacceptable. Guests travel from far and any professional establishment understands the need for reasonable flexibility or at the very least, clear communication, neither of which was provided. You also claim that “the facts stated are not true” but which facts exactly? The room was dirty, our room was not serviced and the toilet did not even have a curtain. The list is endless and dismissing it without addressing any of these issues only reinforces the problem. Instead of taking accountability you have chosen to deflect and accuse a paying customer of being dishonest. That alone speaks volumes about your standards of customer service. I stand by my review and will be attaching evidence to correct this false narrative.
The place is not bad but the problem is that they don't take care of it. Tall grass, dirty pool. The staff attitude very bad. They even want us to pay for breakfast but when we do the booking at bookings.com it says breakfast is included. We have to fight for breakfast and it was not only us but another couple also they had the same problem, eventually we got our breakfast but after a big fight.
What a bad experience!!! 1 STAR IS WAY TO MUCH!!! We booked a room in the main hotel... nowhere any photos and mention was made of the outside building which looked like employee's quarters. This was never an option when we made the booking and now it is the only room available for us. The rude and poorly mannered receptionist made things even worse!! We left and had to find other accommodation late at night , since we didn't feel comfortable staying in such sub standard room.... not nearly what was advertised as a hotel!!! BAD IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!!!!
I Booked and paid for a family twin room for my mom and dad. It said breakfast included. Got there and guess what? Breakfast is not included. Be carefully if you book with them via Vio app. The Vio customer service confirmed that breakfast was included. But the hotel said its not. I would not book via Vio or book this hotel again. Since they just don't give a hell about honesty , integrity or paying customers . Seems to me like they just lie and falsely advertise. Rather book another hotel that honors their bookings.
The room is clean, the bed comfortable but it's very small. I suppose for the price it's good.
