About this place Montecasino Boulevard, Fourways, Johannesburg
The Pivot is a four-star mainstream hotel inside the Montecasino entertainment complex in Fourways, in Johannesburg's northern suburbs. It is listed as gay-friendly, not as a gay hotel. The complex around it has a casino, theatre, cinemas and restaurants, so you can eat and go out without leaving the security perimeter.
Fourways is a long way from the city's queer bars. Melville, Rosebank and Sandton are a ride-hail trip away, so budget for taxis rather than walking at night. Confirm the hotel's current name and booking details before you go, as this listing has incomplete contact data.

We spent a few hours walking around Montecasino and really enjoyed the atmosphere. There are plenty of places to eat and enough entertainment to make a full outing of it.
