Sunday Jemmott
Step into the vibrant world of Sunday Jemmott, an early-career artist whose colourful, texturally rich works exude joy. Working across painting, drawing, sculpture and mixed media, Sunday transforms everyday materials into playful works that celebrate self-expression.
As Artist in Residence at Museum of Brisbane, Sunday is creating an immersive new installation that will transform the Museum’s entryway into a scribble sanctuary, exploring drawing as an instinctive, genderless act and a powerful way of making sense of the world.
During Melt, join Sunday’s drop-in workshops where you can draw alongside the artist and contribute to the scribble sanctuary before it opens in early 2027.
MoB’s Artist in Residence program is supported by Tim Fairfax AC.
