Quite interesting

A fantastic campsite as a base for a trip to Stockholm. You can reach Stockholm's city center by metro in just fifteen minutes. At the campsite, you don't feel like you're so close to a city at all. You look out over the water and a small harbor. The restrooms and amenities are more than adequate. A bit dated, but perfectly clean! The reception was easily accessible and very helpful with all our questions. We were very pleased with the price for a campsite so close to the city. We highly recommend it!

We stayed at the campsite for 2 nights. It was amazing. The location is relatively close to the city centre yet you are surrounded by nature. There is a lovely little beach near the campsite. The atmosphere is amazing, staff is friendly. Highly recommend!

We had a room with two beds in the hostel. The toilets were unfortunately a bit of a walk away, but the place itself, and the whole area, was really lovely. The room was clean, and the bathroom facilities were clean as well. The kitchen was very well equipped. To get to the center of Stockholm, a bicycle is recommended, as it's not exactly around the corner. The price was incredibly cheap compared to other prices in and around Stockholm.

The only thing that makes this place interesting is its location. The sanitary facilities are outdated. It costs over 400 crowns per night. The washing machine costs 100 crowns. And then you're left with wet laundry after four hours. That's not what we call service. There are better places to stay for sightseeing.

We stayed four nights at the campsite in our campervan. The site is in a nice location, and Stockholm city center and other attractions are easily accessible. The sanitary facilities are simply disgusting, unclean, smelly, and completely outdated. The price is unreasonable, and the staff is no fun either. We certainly won't be back.

Good location for cycling to Stockholm. The campsite itself is quite nice. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are a disaster. The showers are completely moldy, and the washrooms stink terribly. The price is too high for what you get.

Good location next to Lake Mälaren, there are both standard hotels and hostels to rent. There is also a very nice and beautiful cafe here.

A nice campingplace to visit Stockholm, 11 km by bike or a 15 min. walk to the metrostation. The spaces are small and the sanitary a bit outdated, but the place is beautiful situated. We had a few good days over here.

We stayed for 10 days in a double room at Klubbensborg. The price was 950 kroner (currently €85) per night. The shower/toilet was located under a sloping roof and was shared by three rooms and approximately eight people, as was the communal kitchen. The kitchen floor was linoleum, which also formed the shower floor. There was no shower tray. There is another communal shower and a unisex toilet on the first floor. The rooms, hallway, and kitchen are decorated in a historical style. Breakfast cost 95 kroner (currently €8.50) and consisted of one bread roll, one slice of rye bread, one slice of cheese, one thin slice of salami, one slice of tomato, three slices of cucumber, two thin strips of bell pepper, and one small glass of natural yogurt. Unlimited coffee and tea were also available, along with tap water and a sugary fruit juice-like drink. This was offered every morning without any variation. The staff was very young and friendly. Toilet paper and towel changes were only available upon request. The trash can wasn't emptied once during our entire 10-day stay! The location is picturesque, beautifully situated, and offers opportunities to swim in Lake Mälaren. The holiday homes need a fresh coat of paint, and the surrounding amenities are also showing their age. Otherwise, the site is rented to campers of all kinds. Shopping facilities (Coop) are available near the Mälarhöjden metro station, which is 1.5 km from Klubbensborg. From Klubbensborg, there's a 500-meter uphill walk to the first public transport stop, a bus stop. The journey to the city center takes about half an hour from Mälarhöjden via metro line 13.

This review focuses on the campsite itself, as we didn't stay in a room. The location is fantastic, right on the water with a gently sloping entry and a jetty. The clubhouses are spread out and have a distinctly Swedish atmosphere. At the far end, there's a café with a lovely view of the small harbor. There are several toilets and showers, a water station, and a waste disposal point. The grassy area for parking and camping isn't ideal and is quite small, but the ambiance is top-notch! There's no toilet disposal point, but the walk to the Stockholm S-Bahn (suburban train) is great, and there's a supermarket nearby. Highly recommended as a campsite near the capital!
