Sadly it was closed so we could only see the area. It had beautiful view.
Charming waterfront location with 18th-century houses and an old neighborhood; the center is within 25 minutes by bike. However, the sanitary facilities are outdated and cleaning is infrequent.
Campsite!!!! Service is bad. Open campsite. Dog walking area… toilet and bathroom with a code. This is apparently changed on Monday. You get no info on the new code. Too few toilets and showers… closed for the night, you have to walk 100 meters to the next toilet 😂😂😂… little privacy. For backpackers, don't expect anything… 4 sockets for charging… mobile. Come before 6 pm because they are… not flexible… run by “children”… not recommended.
It’s a really atmospheric place! The water, the café with the setting sun. The communal areas are in good condition; I particularly liked the kitchen layout. Parking for cars and campervans. It’s located near the underground station, with a lovely park area for a run, a large children’s playground and a shop by the station. As road trippers, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. It was a bit chilly, so we booked a hostel – it was a chance to feel like the characters from Pettson and Findus, and our child really enjoyed it)
Can't judge anything special since I haven't lived there because I live not far from there. I'm within walking distance. but the area is very special and unique. Bellman's home area, that says a lot. For me it's very significant from a cultural interest point of view.
Great campsite in Stockholm. Highly recommended, especially for those with dogs, as you can easily walk them directly from the campsite, always along the water and back through the small wooded area above the campsite. Very friendly staff, basic sanitary facilities, cleanliness was okay. One star deducted because only one dishwashing area was open, and the kitchen for campers was unfortunately still closed. We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights and would definitely come back.
