About the venue
Amaranta Bar is an LGBTQ bar and disco on Avenida 6 Norte in Granada, one of Cali's main nightlife areas north of the river. It mixes drinks and dancing, with a local crowd and a soundtrack that leans heavily on Latin music; in Cali that usually means salsa and reggaeton…
“Good atmosphere, reasonable prices. Friendly waiters. Two things to improve: the sound is incredibly loud; please check the permitted limit—we left feeling overwhelmed. Second, play more modern music.” — Andres Ceballos, Google
“Great atmosphere, a very pleasant place, but the noise level was excessive! The music was distorted; how could they let it get to that point? Neither the staff nor the DJ seemed to notice... What a shame!” — Ijneb G, Google
