About the venue
Affirmations is metro Detroit's LGBTQ+ community center and is often described as the largest in Michigan. It was founded in 1989 and has had its own building at 290 West Nine Mile Road since 2007…
“AFFIRMATIONS IS A SAFE PLACE FOR LGBTQ COMMUNITY.” — THOMAS KOSH, Google
“Affirmations is a great place for support groups for the Lgbtq community. Just wished there was more social activities available. Like board game night, local writing group in person, social activities to meet other lgbtq other than just support groups which are more serious oriented.” — Christian Kroeyr, Google
