Mantra on Northbourne

My husband and I were really impressed with this hotel. Great facilities, quiet and clean room with all amenities and helpful staff. We loved the little welcome touches and could not have been happier. Great location close to cafes, bars and clubs for a night out!

Very comfortable bed, amazing sized room and very central to the CBD. Plenty of place to find food and coffee with some permanent street food vendors over the back next to the car wash!

My room was dated but spacious and the hotel is in a good central location. However, I want to pass on that I would never stay here again due to the fact 2 men were given keys to my room at 10pm at night. I assume my room was not marked as not vacant on the system which is terrible. This was a very scary experience being a woman traveling alone and I am lucky I had not gone to bed yet and the men were nice, this situation could have been a lot worse. I had what was probably the worst nights sleep of my life due to being terrified somebody else was going to try and enter my room. Would not recommend to solo travellers especially women.

The room is very clean and serviceable. The 1BR apartment is quite comfortable for 1-2 people. Has a sofa bed if required. Small kitchen with stove top, microwave, good-sized fridge, dishwasher, and what looks like an Aldi coffee pod machine (but not sure). Small dining area, lounge area with a massive TV on the wall. Laundering facilities in the bathroom. It does have a shower-over-bath which is a bit awkward (personally, not a fan of the combo as it feels hazardous). Hot water is a bot slow to arrive so be patiemt, but when it does its great (I was on the 7th floor, to be fair). Bed has a.comfortable mattress that is quite firm but not a brick. Also A/C in both rooms. Location is super convenient to all the restaurants, cafes, bars, and conveniences of trendy Braddon with the CBD just down the road. Great location. Limited underground parking available for $20 per day.

Great place to stay and meals were excet

The rooms provide everything you need - while a little dated, they were still comfortable and the staff are great. Close to great dining venues and a short walk to the Canberra Centre.

Very comfortable room, one bedroom apartment with ample space and privacy. Quiet, comfortable within walking distance to city and War Memorial.

Requested 2 bed, got 1, even after call and confirmation. Colleague tried to have breakfast as it was part of the stay, got turned away and had to buy breakfast outside. Apparently due to miscommunication from the front office and their staff.

Close to CBD and well priced.
