Went here for a drink and food and it didn’t disappoint. Food was good quality at a great price, plus the quantity of food was filling. They have a pool table and a large selection of drinks available plus a beer garden. Would heavily recommend as they also have great music contributing to its welcoming and friendly vibe.

Nice and easy to find. Parking options not amazing. The place has potential but the bed itself was quite good. Staff at the bistro were lovely, first interaction with staff at the bar was rocky and felt like i was in the wrong place. Accomodation wise i would not say family friendly. Its a place that is good for the right people but not as a stop on a family trip somewhere. Our room we needed to leave the window open otherwise felt like you might pass out except right outside the window was some kind of generator going off all night. I was happy to have shared bathrooms however they were shit. Far ladies had a bath and a shower. The bath was rusted and gross and the shower head was broken, the toilet was okay. The 'better' ladies bathroom had 2 showere and a toilet. Again the toliet was okay however 1 of the showers everytime you turned the taps the handles came off. The other shower was cosmetically okay. All 3 showers had no hot water at all. They are also not friendly to a bigger person as the space to get into them is about half a door witdth. I understand the 'you get what you pay for' we werent looking for something 3+ stars however as lovely as the place is for its good atributes the bad still outways. So no, not fanily friendly and it is very much not okay to have bo hot water. I didnt have an amazing check in and did not feel comfortable going and talking to the staff about it either just wanted to fet through the night to keep driving the next day. I also saw after the fact that for months now replies to reviews have said they are getting ready for renovations for months now but defintly looks like they have done nothing to the accomodation. Downstairs looks great.
