Oaks on Castlereagh

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Sydney.

Good location in town. Near to bus stops and Central Railway Station. There's Thailand Town, Vietnamese and Chinese area too. Many shops and eateries around the area. Our 2 bedroom apartment were very big. There's two toilets with shower, washing machine and dryer with spacious living room and dining area. There's a small kitchen with large fridge, oven, microwave, kettle and dishwasher as well. There's a balcony too. It's like home away from home and plenty of space for our 6 luggages. Even though some of the areas need refurbishment, it still serves the purpose of an apartment. Will not hesitate to come here again.

Spacious apartment. Very clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. Only had one smoke detector. Which was a safety issue. Needs a lot of updating. Weren’t notified when hot water had to be repaired. No water for a few hours. Very noisy as railway tracks across the road. And car park. Trains would run from four in the morning until midnight. Staff were happy helpful and friendly.

Nice location, but dark during night. Good facilities, just quite outdated, but everything was clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Our cromecast wasn’t working that well, we stuck to regular tv channels. We had a small kitchen in our room which was very handy! Nice and big room and bed for a couple.

I think this place is fantastic, and I honestly don't get why the ratings are so low. The room was clean, had a full kitchen, and I could easily cook my own meals. It was also quite spacious. The location is perfect—so close to Thai Town and just a short walk from Central Station. It’s so convenient that the low reviews really baffle me. You can check the photos; the room I stayed in wasn't bad at all, unlike what some other reviews claimed.
