About this place Jerusalem Open House
The Jerusalem Open House for Pride and Tolerance is the city's LGBTQ+ community centre, at 2 Ha-Soreg Street in central Jerusalem. It was founded in 1997. It offers support groups, mental-health and sexual-health services, a youth programme and advocacy, and it organises the annual Jerusalem Pride march.
The centre is open Sunday to Thursday from 09:00 to 17:00 and closed on Friday and Saturday, following the Israeli week. Visitors can call ahead or check joh.org.il for events and services. Jerusalem has very little gay nightlife compared with Tel Aviv, so the Open House is the main point of contact for anyone looking for the local community.
