About this place The Eucalyptus

The Eucalyptus is chef Moshe Basson's restaurant at Felt Street 14, in the artists' lane of Hutzot HaYotzer just outside the Old City walls near Mamilla. It is known for dishes built on biblical-era ingredients and local wild herbs, and many diners order the tasting menu. It is listed as gay-friendly, which means a mainstream restaurant, not a gay venue. Google rates it 4.5 from more than 1,300 reviews, and prices are upper-middle. Book ahead for dinner and check hours, as we have none on file.

This place is permanently closed despite their website being active and still accepting reservations. We were the third group that showed up last night after making reservations only to discover the restaurant is no longer open. Hopefully Google will mark them closed and prevent this from happening to others.
