About this place Hotel David Citadel

The David Citadel Hotel, a luxury property in Jerusalem, sits on a busy shopping street that's good for getting to the city's big sights. Its horseshoe shape means most rooms look out at the Old City, often from a balcony. From here, you can walk to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in about 12 minutes, and the Western Wall is 4 km away. It's a solid spot if you're in town for the religious and cultural sites. Rooms here are on the chic side, from standard doubles to full suites, all done up with good fabrics and the usual modern stuff: free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, minibars, safes. You'll find sitting areas in many rooms, and some even have sofabeds. Suites add more space, with dressing rooms and separate lounges, plus free access to the business center. You can get room service around the clock, and breakfast is a complimentary buffet. This is an LGBTQ+-welcoming hotel in a city that means a lot to many travelers, regardless of their background. While Jerusalem isn't exactly a party town for the queer community—it's much quieter than, say, Tel Aviv or Berlin—the hotels themselves have gotten a lot more open. You get the amenities and professional service you'd expect from a luxury place, which lets you focus on the city's history and neighborhoods.

The best Hotel in Jerusalem. The breakfast with the view of old city is revives body and soul. The staff for breakfast from Saeed, Samer and Omar. Made my family feel like guests in thier home every day its location to the old city is the closest of any hotel is the closest Mamilla area. The hardest part is leaving.

I think this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in in Israel. After staying in all sorts of hotels, I've never seen anything so disgraceful. The rooms, the service, the food—everything is deplorable. I strongly advise against staying there.
