Don't expect an exclusively queer enclave here; it's a conventional crash pad in a city that happens to be the easiest corner of the Middle East for LGBTQ+ travellers. The setups are practical. Studios come with wood floors, sitting areas, and basic kitchenettes. Upgrade to the one- or two-bedroom layouts if you want actual living rooms and full kitchens to cook in. Bigger groups end up in the family duplex or the penthouse, which gets two separate outdoor terraces. The front desk stays staffed 24 hours. Location does the heavy lifting: Dizengoff Street’s café strip runs parallel just one block inland, while Hilton Beach—Tel Aviv's de facto gay stretch of sand—is a straight 10-minute walk north along the water.

I booked an apartment through Booking.com, and due to the war, I had changes to other bookings on Booking.com that forced me to move dates. Of course, Booking.com's customer service was involved. After the deadline came when any change in the booking was up to the hosts, I encountered a harsh and unpleasant attitude accompanied by incomprehensible stubbornness. I asked with six days' notice to move the vacation to a month ahead and encountered refusal after refusal. Everywhere in the world I had problems with bookings through Booking.com during the Corona/war period, everything was always resolved for the best. I will add that it was very difficult to reach them by phone. There was no answer on any extension and the number for bookings was not available at all. There is no logical explanation for why not to move dates. In the end, I preferred to pay a fine rather than stay with them. I would not go to these apartments even for free.
