Wanting to spend a few hours having a relaxing drink while we wait for dinner hour, we found our way to the only open bar in the area for a few drinks. At first, we weren't even going to visit there, since it was the farthest from our current location but it was the only place open and as wandering happened, we serendipitously wound up near it and decided to stop in. So glad we did! CJ, the owner and us were the only ones there at that time - it was really early on a midweek day; no one could really be surprised. CJ, who tells us several meanings of his name - they are all funny(no spoilers), hips us to a local, non-tourist place for some absolutely an amazing kobe wagyu beef bbq place very near the bar. We, as tourist, would have never found this place without him/a local. We let the chef serve us whatever he selected and the chef knocked it out of the park!🤤 I am the original Jack Sprat (google it 😆) but you wouldn't have had any clue of this because I ate it all and could have kept going! I couldn't tell you what beef parts/delicacies I was shoveling into my mouth (some even raw!😲) but it was all amazing. My husband couldn't believe it even more. I was even able to eat and enjoy selections that he couldn't. This was all a very wow-moments meal.🤯🤤🤤 After the meal, we returned to thank him where he also taught us how to properly pour Sake!

I went there after work and was lucky to find that they serve free tacos on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The pasta was also delicious. When I went on the weekend, it was busy and I had to drink standing up. It seems that they have a lot of foreign customers. The owner is a handsome older man!
