After staring at Google Maps, I finally found the gay bar "Gaizuba."
First of all, I was very grateful that the doors were open and there was a sign outside (cover charge 1,300, drinks from 800 yen, snacks from 300 yen)!
I was able to sit at the counter.
The mama was off work, so the staff I enjoyed chatting with that day were:
💓Shin-san
💓Mucchan
📍Gaizuba. is a gay-first, men-first bar, but all sexualities are welcome (men's-only on Saturdays).
📍Have a great time chatting with a total of 8 staff members🍀
You can talk regardless of sexual orientation!
💰Prices
Drinks: From 800 yen
Bottles: From 4,000 yen
Bottle Set: 1,000 yen
Cover charge: 1,300 yen (all-you-can-eat appetizers with 3 dishes)
Well, I was really touched by this.
I thought I'd get scolded. At first glance, it may seem a little strange (!?), but both Mucchan and Shin-san were so kind that I melted.
Their service was so heartwarming that it made me forget my Monday fatigue...
They talked about recent dreams, their favorite men's songs, and "What Did You Eat Yesterday?" stories, and we all laughed out loud.
I even blurted out some pretty blunt questions because I was drunk, but they still accepted it...
They were so kind! And they were so heartfelt! I thought that! 🍺
My friend and I shared a medium-sized bottle. 🍺
And then, the appetizers.
They were so delicious that I wondered if they were actually department store side dishes!
The first time, they served stewed lotus root, spicy salad, and candied sweet potato.
The second time, they served chicken bang bang chicken style, koya tofu, and simmered burdock.
They were so filling!
It's amazing that all of this is included in the 1,300 yen cover charge...
You can also smoke and eat the snacks on the counter.
For three people, the bill came to about 2,300 yen per person.
We ended up staying for about three hours and left just before 11pm!
They also recommended a place called Kyushu Otoko Shinjuku 2-chome, so I'll go there next time!
I hope to meet the proprietress (guy) next time.
