Decided to visit this bar on my first night in Penang. It was a quiet Thursday evening, so there wasn’t much going on—but what really made the experience special was the bartender, Kahyin. He kept me company the entire time, and we had a genuinely great conversation. He even kindly offered me a ride to Chulia Street when he noticed I was a bit tipsy, making sure I got back to my hostel safely. I returned the following evening, and once again, the staff made me feel welcome. The other bartender was just as friendly and made sure I didn’t feel alone. The bar itself has a lot of potential, and I can imagine it being a great spot when it’s busier. I probably just came at a quieter time. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Penang.

As a Gay man, I am excited by the handsome and hunky hosts and waiters. Makes to so hign and wet when it is closed.

I’m a regular club goer from KL who enjoys good drinks and very importantly good or at the very least, decent music. I’ve been to a good number of bars in Penang including Tujoh. I honestly have not exposed to worse music in my clubbing life than what the DJ was spinning (or rather playing) in Tujoh last night. The music was so bad it was unbearable I had to put on my AirPods with active noise cancelling mode on - it’s my first time I have ever done something so seemingly rude in a bar but I had no choice becos the music so insufferable to my ears. The whole of bunch of us eventually decided to take our drinks outside only to discover many other patrons felt the same about the music. I can’t believe any decent bar allows music of such quality, or the lack of it, to play in the year 2025.
