About this place Hotel Robert Reimers

Hotel Robert Reimers is a mainstream hotel on Uliga Road in Majuro, the capital of the Marshall Islands, and one of the main places to stay on the atoll. It is gay-friendly only in the general sense and has no LGBTQ+ profile. Google reviewers give it 3.8 from about 94 reviews, so expect functional rather than polished. Majuro has a small choice of hotels, so book early around government and aid-agency meetings. Same-sex relations are legal in the Marshall Islands, but there is no gay scene, and discretion in public is the norm.

Probably the best hotel in Majuro. Also the restaurant is very good. For booking I wrote them an e-mail and they replied very quickly. The hotel also arranged an airport pick-up for me which was highly appreciated. You can book a day tour to Eneko Island at the reception which I highly recommend (that was the highlight of my whole stay). At the reception you can borrow bamboo sticks which I recommend to carry when venturing into the city to protect against stray dogs.

Overpriced. Not the value you pay. They charge 8$ per day for the wifi and the area has very weak signal for internet. You pay for everything. They take advantage of their almost monopolistic status in Majuro.

They don't answer their emails or online form requests so it's impossible to book in advance. Just show up and hope for the best, I guess.
