We visited in April 2026, we had two nights in Omana hotel before our trek from Dhap to Pikey Peak and then two nights before our flight home. The family are very welcoming and the rooms are immaculately clean. The family were friendly and accommodating of our group. We left some belongings we didn’t want to carry on the trek. The journey from the airport was 20 minutes and the walk into Thamel was also about 20 minutes. If you have maps on your phone you can navigate away from the busy main roads. We had a Thai massage after our trek at the place round the corner opposite the embassy. It was amazing. We loved the buzz of this city and the calm of this hotel.

Very clean. Cozy. Very welcoming! Every staff member goes out of their way to help you! They'll help you with transfers and excursions. The breakfasts are amazing. If every hotel took such good care of me, I'd never go back home.

We had a wonderful stay. We would definitely stay again. The room was very clean, the shower had hot water, and they cleaned our room. The restaurant food was delicious. Very good prices. I highly recommend it. I came with a friend.

I stayed here for my entire Kathmandu trip because it's by far the hotel with the best value for money! The rooms are beautiful and quiet (!) despite the central location, the bathrooms are new and very clean, the food is very good, and the tea is excellent. There's 24/7 self-service drinking water, soap, and everything else you could possibly need besides fresh bedding and towels. But last but not least: the women who run the place are incredibly kind and helpful; you immediately feel at home. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Kathmandu.
