About this place Epic

Epic, on Boracay’s Bulabog Road in Malay, Philippines, is a gay bar and club. It’s a good starting point for the island’s LGBTQ+ nightlife, a place for drinks and dancing.

The space has indoor and outdoor sections, so you can sit outside in the tropical air or stay cool inside. Earlier in the evening, it’s a lounge. Later, it turns into a full-on beach club. If you’re with a group, there’s even a private room.

You’ll find the same kind of crowd you’d expect at a gay beach club: a mix of locals and tourists, music pumping, and a generally social vibe. It’s right in the middle of Boracay’s busiest strip, so it’s easy to get to, and easy to keep going elsewhere if you want to.

food was nothing special but it's good! it's just your typical american food but i like the vibe and how it's literally in front of the beach.

I didn’t understand why it’s called “Epic” — until I left. Located right on White Beach Station 2 in Boracay, where most people naturally gather by the sea, the location alone already says a lot. The Caesar salad was fresher than expected, and from the first bite, it just makes sense. The pizza is thin and crispy, and somehow tastes even better when eaten by the beach. The mini burgers (4 pieces) are light at first, but they disappear faster than expected. The pasta is clean and well-balanced, nothing heavy, just smooth and easy to enjoy. The quesadilla is the kind of dish that makes you want another drink without thinking too much. Each dish doesn’t feel like it’s trying to impress—it just belongs there. But the real highlight isn’t the food. As the sun starts to set over White Beach, everything slowly shifts. The view takes over the table, and conversation naturally gets quieter. And then you take a sip of beer, and it all clicks. Why people stay longer than they planned. Why no one seems in a hurry to leave. This isn’t just a restaurant. It’s where Boracay slows down for a moment.

Ordered Fish and chips. Got like 10 french fries with one piece of fish. It tasted ok but I felt scammed.
