About this place Cocoloco Bar

Cocoloco Bar is an LGBTQ+ spot on Boracay Island, in the Philippines, that sits right on Batcave Beach Road.

It’s a relaxed beachfront place, the kind of easygoing island atmosphere a lot of us are after. You’ll find seating under palm trees, which makes it feel genuinely local, and keeps it out of the main tourist crush.

Boracay's queer scene is pretty friendly, and Cocoloco is part of that. Because it’s a bit quieter, you get a more intimate vibe than at some of the island’s bigger party places. So if you want to chill, chat, and just take in the beach without the pounding club scene, this is a good bet.

They put effort into the food and drinks here. The kitchen focuses on fresh stuff, so whether it's dinner, cocktails, or both, you can expect decent grub. Settle in for the evening with those palm trees overhead and the beach just there.

For current events, hours, or what’s on the menu, check their site: www.cocolocoboracay.com.

On service the girls at the bar and the restaurant guy at the bar and at the hotel were just lovely but the guy at the bar is downright rude..

Why can't you have two coffees? Why are you so stingy?

The food was really good, the service was nice, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The location is also great and very convenient. We enjoyed our stay and felt comfortable the whole time. Definitely a place I would come back to again when visiting Boracay.

If you are looking for a place that is not detached from nature, employees are humble, reliable, rooms are immaculate, everyone is smiling, refreshing interior design, beach front, food is great, affordable and fun but safe.. This is my top 1 hotel in Boracay. I am beyond satisfied of the service and how I was treated.

We loved eating here for breakfast, lunch and drinks for happy hour as our hotel next door and has no restro facilities. You can use lounges as well to rest, as a restro customer.. I have one tiny tiny bit of feedback. There should be signs put up around restro to say - NO MOBILE PHONE NOISE... it is so upsetting to have such a tranquil place only to hear children or even worse adults using their phone in a loud fashion. It is disrespectful to other guests or customers. So the easy fix is to put signs up, and when there is a breah, point to the sign. Look forward to seeing you again.

An authentic beach bar, just the way you want it. I spent several days at this beach bar, which belongs to an attached hotel. It's an "old-fashioned" beach bar where time seems to have stood still. Lots of wood, eclectic furnishings, everything a bit worn (in a good way), but incredibly authentic and very cozy. There are seating areas with tables, a bar area with chairs, and, facing the beach, plenty of armchairs with small tables, inviting you to relax and daydream under huge, very shady trees on an exceptionally beautiful stretch of sand. If you order food and drinks here, you can also use the sun loungers right on the beach at no extra charge. I think that's extremely fair. There's a wide selection of drinks and food at reasonable prices. The staff is friendly. Anyone looking for a relaxing day away from the tourist crowds at Station 2 will definitely be happy here. I also took the opportunity to look at the hotel's courtyard. Simply stunning.
