insects and mold everywhere. No Electric plug for europeans, you need an adapter. (we did not use one for the rest of philippines). 3 doors in the apartment where closed so we didn't felt safe. NO TOWELS and shower was super small. Great view of sunset.

Like an Air BnB from Wish. Arrived with my extended family for a stay in July. Let me start with the basic comforts; things that were just unfortunate and I would be willing to overlook (if they weren’t compounded with everything else): - The lobby smelled like it was a house for stray cats. The sofas had the stench of cat urine, and when we came back after a night away, they were all wet (from what I’d guess was a leaky ceiling). - When we arrived it took over 30 minutes to get the door open because we were given only two keys for the three locks. They ended up having to get the third lock (the door handle itself) dismantled just to let us in. It also had to stay dismantled. When we locked the door again, this just restarted the problem. - The elevators: the doors close after only a couple of seconds. Every time we tried entering they would close after only one or two people had entered the lift. Annoying for most of us, dangerous for the elderly. They were also very slow. Now for more serious problems: - Aside from the door lock, every time we asked about anything, the request was “call the owner.” Which means all the staff basically do is keep track of anyone coming in and going out, and even this is done with mixed competency. They always took a moment to discuss before anyone did anything, as if no one knew exactly what to do and they had to reach consensus. - The drains don’t drain and the toilets leak. The floors had puddles of water that were pretty suspect. Having a shower and then having to step past/through these puddles was disgusting. One of our group was a nurse and she was worried that we could get seriously ill from it. - On the toilets, one of them was blocked. The same one that was leaking. The bowl was just a melting pot of bacteria, and the fact that it was leaking out all over the bathroom floor? Forget about it. - There is absolutely no hot water. Cold showers for everyone. - There were items on the veranda. During the rainy season, when we visited, some of these were blown about and they are big enough to come crashing through the glass panels, especially with the strength of the winds during that time. I was constantly in fear for my relatives in that room. - The air conditioners were filthy, which made me question their filters. The remotes also didn’t work properly. - We had an issue with the internet and when we told the staff… yup… call the owner. - The internet was really slow when we DID have it. It suddenly stopped working and when I told the front desk, they said (you got it), “ask the owner”. You’d think it was something they could do on behalf of those renting, especially since they don’t have much else they seem to be doing… aside from letting stray cats defacate all over the lobby. In the end, we managed to find out that the internet for our room was prep-paid and that we had no allowance left. To be fair, the staff were relatively nice when they didn’t make it obvious that they didn’t appreciate you interrupting what they were doing. They seem to only really do what they need to pass all the basic requirements to keep going as an air bnb. Everything else screams “We are definitely just here to earn money for our owners and we don’t REALLY care at all about your necessities or comfort.” Spend a little bit extra and go somewhere else. Trust me. Don’t. Just don’t go there! We ended up going somewhere else eventually.
