The Red House (Ximen Honglou)

One of the most iconic landmarks in Ximending area. The red brick building is beautiful , making it a great place for photos.

It has artsy little shops that fill the whole building, and there are restrooms inside. The layout is very comfortable to walk around, and there is also some historical information inside. If you have time, you can go in and have a look and enjoy the air conditioning.

From outside it looks like just a beautiful building but when I go inside, many interesting shops and activities. Really recommend to go inside.

Another historical site transformed into a cultural and creative space. The building is beautiful, and the shops inside are attractive but also expensive. What impressed me most was the sign at the entrance that seemed to be celebrating International Museum Day: "Have you gone to the toilet today?", and also the gender-neutral open toilets.

The food at Hong Kan in Ximending is delicious, the service is excellent, and the location is convenient.

The atmosphere for taking photos is pretty good.

The air conditioning is great, and there are lots of creative and cultural shops! Sometimes there are also exhibitions. I highly recommend coming in to enjoy the air conditioning and browse around!
