About this place APP Pub

APP Pub is a gay bar and club in Bangkok's Ratchada area, where live bands, drag queens, and DJs all share one roof. It pulls in a mostly Thai crowd, and the drinks are cheap, so you won't blow your budget getting a feel for Bangkok's queer nightlife. Bangkok's gay scene has a lot of options. APP Pub is the one you pick for high energy, live shows, and a real sense of local culture. Think live music, drag, and DJ sets all mashed up—it's that theatrical kind of Bangkok gay bar. It gets loud and packed, especially when it's busy, which tells you something about how popular it is with locals and visitors alike. Come here for something casual and unpretentious, with a strong Thai vibe. If you want to hang out with Bangkok locals and see what their nightlife is like, rather than just another tourist trap, this is it. It’s a good call if you like live acts and want to spend an evening surrounded by music, entertainment, and a sociable crowd. Since it's in Ratchada, it's easy to combine with other things to do in that entertainment district. Check their Facebook page for the latest on who's performing and when they're open.

Great Italian food, a little pricey though. There's a free parking lot but very limited spaces. Variety menu, pasta, salad, pizza and some other dishes. Not so many tables though, a small and cozy a/c restaurant. Pretty noisy if it's fully packed.

-The restaurant is super cute! -There aren't many tables, the atmosphere is great, not crowded at all. -The staff are lovely, smiling and attentive. -The food is delicious, the carbonara is incredibly creamy!! The Caesar salad is also pretty good. -The pizza looks tempting, I'll definitely come back to try it next time. -They offer complimentary infused water. -There's plenty of parking.

This Italian restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, but the menu is more serious than expected. The prices are quite high, but commensurate with the quality of the food. I think the restaurant specializes in pizza, as they have a brick oven in-house, but we didn't order any today. The average price per dish is around 3xx-4xx baht. The menu is diverse.

The food exceeded my expectations! I asked about the chef, and it turns out the owner was a food creator for many famous restaurants and cafes before opening their own place. Now they have their own restaurant, and it's incredibly cute. The food is amazing, and it's a really relaxing and comfortable place with a great vibe. They collaborate with artists, and the characters are adorable. If you spend 5000 baht with friends, they give you an apron (which they also sell!), which is super cute. The staff provided excellent service. Today I ordered the Caesar salad, and it tasted just like an Italian restaurant salad – a huge portion and great value. They have a special menu item, the shrimp in sauce, which I'd give ten stars for. It's served with focaccia bread. You have to order the pizza here; I chose pepperoni, and the crust was huge, but it was delicious and could be eaten on its own if you don't mind the calories. The miso spaghetti was well-made with just the right flavor, but the seaweed seasoning made it a little sweet. The grilled salmon was a little dry, but I saw the spicy salmon and tried it – it wasn't as spicy as I expected. If you love bread, you should definitely bookmark this
