First of all, my husband and I are in our 50s and have no children. As a couple, we decided on the Hoi An Historic Hotel because it is not too crowded, yet offers a spacious environment where we can swim leisurely and take a leisurely stroll to sightsee. Breakfast is included, and the rooms have terraces. The swimming pool is large and located on the ground floor. The garden is beautiful, and it takes about 5 to 7 minutes to walk to the Old Town. There is also a cafe right in front of the main entrance. If you visit the Hoi An Museum right next door on a hot day, you might be able to enjoy history accompanied by a cool breeze. If you are willing to let your guard down a bit more... It is a hotel with a tranquil atmosphere reminiscent of Gyeongju in Korea, offering excellent value for money. The air conditioning and ceiling fans double the coolness. The sounds of geckos, swallows, and sparrows chirping all day long, along with the lush greenery and exotic trees, were all very pleasing. The lemonade we had as a welcome drink was truly amazing. I wanted to have it again. We arrived at night on Asiana Airlines, and even the Binh Xeo and Cao Lau we ordered via Grab Food around midnight were delicious. My older partner and I aren't usually a big fan of infinity pools. However, the room was quiet and spacious with high ceilings, and the breakfast had everything we needed. It is a hotel I would love to visit and stay at again. Compared to the Shilla Hotel in Seoul, the Skóthai Hotel in Bangkok, and the Hoi An Hotel, the Historic Hotel seems to be the best. I like this hotel more than modern ones because it feels more charming and full of relaxation. There is also a travel agency on the same land, which is great for planning new trips. I also like that the entrance is wide. Above all, the room was quiet even with many children around. Since there are multiple buildings, there is a wide variety of room types to choose from.
Great location close to everything, nice rooms with AC and great service. Very happy with the hotel and can recommend
The hotel is conveniently located near the old town, making it ideal for exploring on foot. The spacious drop-off area is a plus, allowing shuttle cars and Grab (ride-hailing service) to enter the property. We were able to arrange a 2-hour electric car tour at the front desk on short notice (payment was made directly to the Ecar driver). Our stay coincided with my mother's birthday, and the hotel presented her with a bouquet that day. It was a truly wonderful memory for my mother. We are so grateful for their thoughtfulness! If we have the opportunity to visit again, we would like to stay in a pool-view room next time.
This hotel offers the best value for money in terms of location, pool, and breakfast. The staff were incredibly friendly, and even though my suitcase was very heavy, the staff helping with my luggage always smiled and asked if I was comfortable. The pool is small but well-equipped, and while there was some noise in the room itself, it wasn't bothersome. If I come to Hoi An again, I will definitely revisit this place❣️
I do not recommend this hotel to those visiting around the Tet holiday period. There were live music performances using large subwoofer speakers held behind the hotel, and the sound was so loud that it echoed throughout the entire room. The noise was particularly severe in the rooms on the second floor. Because it was so noisy, I requested a room change and was moved to a garden-view room on the first floor, after which the noise decreased significantly. Other than that, the location was good and the atmosphere at the breakfast area was nice. I think it would be a good place to stay as long as you avoid the Tet period.
