Perro Perro — Cinema Galeries

While on holiday, Juan finds a stray dog. This man-animal, initially fearful, reveals a gentle, beautiful, tender, and docile side. Juan takes him in, bathes him, feeds him, and a mutual affection develops between the two. In this delightfully absurd fairy tale, animal desires and instincts take on a strangely literal form, to the point that strokes on the belly and slobbery kisses on the mouth can become the height of homoeroticism. Sensual, funny, whimsical, fascinating, and unsettling, this film explores themes of relationships, polyamory, identity, and gender.
