About the event
Every third Sunday of the month there is a special Sunday matinee: the 40+ café, is then 'just a little bit more': a cozy get-together with adapted music and with extra attention for the guests while enjoying a drink and tasty snacks.
Each time, two different team members are behind the bar, and a guest person walks around welcoming new and familiar guests. Yet another is designated as the snack man.
Together, we ensure a pleasant ambiance and atmosphere in which everyone feels safe and welcome.
That's why 40+ Café is 'just a little bit more'.
About the venue
Pand54 is the queer meeting café run by COC Eindhoven en regio, the local branch of the Dutch LGBTQ+ association. The building at Prins Hendrikstraat 54 has two bars, lounges and a courtyard. It is volunteer-run, so the crowd is mixed in age and background, and drinks are cheap…
