SPA Bad zur Sonne

Overpriced entrance fee for only a quarter of the swimming area. Unfortunately, the staff were very unfriendly. Never again!

A small but nice swimming pool. Not too crowded, the prices are still reasonable, the staff very friendly, the food is so-so and could definitely be improved, but I'm not used to anything better in Vienna, so it's okay. The Japanese bath attendant is pretty cool and can give good tips on swimming technique. If I'm ever in Graz again, I'll definitely come back.

I think the Bad zur Sonne is one of the most beautiful swimming pools anywhere. It's small, but its central location is a real plus. It's a place where young and old mingle, and the spa is small but perfectly formed for a relaxing break. The pool's major renovation was a long time ago, but the architecture is truly timeless and was very well done at the time. However, the children's area could use a refresh, especially regarding the dry play features. The flooring there isn't very appealing anymore.

Very nice bathroom, but unfortunately sometimes too crowded and the children's screams echo extremely loudly. But otherwise I can recommend it.

Too expensive for what's offered: frozen food and the pool water is too warm. I was there a few days ago, and an employee quoted me a different price than the one I ended up paying. Also, there are only two saunas. For that price, you can get the Novaspa, which is significantly larger and costs about the same. I find that really disappointing, because the location is very central and convenient, but I'll be going somewhere else in the future.

The spa used to be really lovely, with a beautifully decorated sauna area, a better tea bar, and a whirlpool you could turn on yourself. Now it's just a pool with warm water. While almost everything is clean, it's lost its charm. The food is all pre-made from the freezer. On a wellness day, I would have liked some fresh, healthy options, like freshly grilled chicken breast on a summer salad. I'm sorry, but I'll be looking for something better.
