Yooma Urban Lodge

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Yooma Lodge Brussels. Every member of staff we encountered was fantastic. The reception team were exceptional, especially Claire, who spent a long time chatting with our 18-month-old daughter and made her feel so welcome. There was also a lovely gentleman and lady on reception during the evenings (I'm sorry I didn't catch their names) who were incredibly kind to our little family, which is soon to become a family of four this October and another gentleman too who gave his blessings for my pregnancy and our growing family. This was our first holiday abroad as a family and our daughter's first trip outside of England. She absolutely loved exploring Brussels, and Yooma Lodge was the perfect place for us to stay. The themed décor featuring Tintin, The Smurfs and other beloved cartoons was wonderful, and our spacious family room with a double bed and bunk beds was fantastic. The bathroom was beautiful- big bath and wonderful shower. What truly made our stay special, however, was the people. From reception to housekeeping, catering, the bar team and every staff member we met along the way, everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hospitality was outstanding. We were particularly impressed by how many languages the staff spoke and how effortlessly they made guests feel comfortable and cared for. I only wish I had remembered everyone's names so I could thank them individually. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel one morning, which was excellent. The team member serving us was lovely, and we enjoyed chatting about his daughter who lives and works in the UK. The hotel itself was immaculate throughout our stay. Our room was beautifully cleaned every day, and all of the communal areas were maintained to an exceptionally high standard, including the third-floor communal lounge, hallways, reception area, arcade floor, cinema, pool table, bar and restaurant. Thank you to the housekeeping team for keeping the hotel so immaculate. The location was also excellent. It was an easy, flat 20-minute walk into the city centre, which was ideal with a pram and while pregnant. There were also plenty of nearby amenities, including shops, restaurants, bars and pharmacies. Brussels itself offered so much to see and do, with beautiful architecture, museums and attractions all within easy reach. We genuinely could not have chosen a better place to stay. It was a wonderful few days away and a much-needed family break filled with lovely memories. We are incredibly grateful to the entire team at Yooma Lodge Brussels for their kindness and hospitality, and we would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

The hotel was located close to the train station at an easily walkable distance. The theme of the whole hotel appealed to children so families would love this place. Plus the rooms were very clean and cozy and all amenties provided as listed. Loved their breakfast and dinner as well which was very much halal. Though my stay was just for 2 nights, would have loved to stayed a bit longer. Next time I am in Brussels, I would definitely choose Yooma again.

A very nice hotel for a stay with children. The rooms are very spacious and well-equipped, and there's a games room and arcade for children on the ground floor. However, the service is impersonal and very rigid. We couldn't have our children (shared custody) and there was no way to change rooms. We booked parking for two cars, but one was canceled without a refund. The same goes for breakfast; no refund either. And if you want to book, they clearly tell you to go through Booking.com and not directly with them... The hotel is really nice, but I won't be returning because of the service.

Loveliest of Reception Staff! Really helpful! The Rooftop was amazing! The common room, dining space etc was beautiful as well. We stayed 2 nights, so they really made our bed and sorted it out beautifully. I came with my old family members and they all loved it!

The hotel was very good… the worst thing is the exterior; I mean the surrounding area. It's a shame! The streets are quite neglected and the local people are a bit peculiar.

A fun hotel that we stayed in for three nights, split over a two and one night stay, bookending a trip to the Netherlands. The staff were very friendly and helpful during both visits. The kids loved the comic themed rooms and the room layouts were great for the family. The location was perfect for being a short walk for the train station (Gare du Midi/Zuid) but also to the Grand Place, for the array of museums. Overall a perfect stay for fun and function.

We enjoyed the comic theme, the good room layout, and the helpful staff. The location is very convenient for Midi Station and walking to the center, though the immediate neighborhood isn't the most attractive. It can also get a bit noisy with large groups staying there, but the staff does their best to help.

We were quite surprised by the excellent and friendly service. The hotel has a great location and facilities. A highlight was the decoration of the rooms; everything was very beautiful and well-planned, we loved it.
