Café Den Draak
Visitors praise Café Den Draak for its friendly and quick bartenders, good wine selection, great location with a nice ambiance and private tables, and its welcoming atmosphere for both queer people and friends, as well as its fun parties. However, some visitors lament that during busy times or parties, beer is served in plastic cups with a limited selection, and feel the venue has declined from its former status.

Reaching for the rainbow! Thanks for organising side events of the antwerp pride, we had a lot of fun!
Bartenders are very quick and friendly. Wine is good. The location is great, i like the ambience with little lights. Tables aren't so close to each other so, you can still have some privacy. 2 weeks ago, I watched Belgium football game there, it was a fantastic experience.
It's a shame they're just letting such a beautiful café bleed to death. Den Draak was once one of the best cafés in Antwerp, but unfortunately, not much of that remains. When it's busy or there's a party, you get beer in plastic cups and the selection is severely limited. I just don't see why anyone would still come here to party: nowadays the taps here close at 1:00 AM, even on Fridays and Saturdays. Or rather: if you are a customer. Staff can buy drinks after 1:00 AM, but as a loyal customer, you are simply allowed to be thirsty after that. Unfortunately, they aren't friendly here anymore either. The new owners did inherit the beautiful terrace, but unfortunately, that's all there is to it. A pity.
