Due to a booking error on booking.com, I suddenly had two hotels booked in Bruges. I wanted to cancel room D28 free of charge, but the manager refused and referred me back to Booking.com. Sure, you can do that, but then you're just not good enough. Karma will sort it out.

I slept one night in this hotel yesterday and it was really okay! Finally a decent hotel at a fair price in Bruges. Located in the city, next to the fair, and it was quiet at night. Highly recommended, definitely coming back next year.

Overnight stay end of March 2026: Pros: + Close to underground parking garage. + Close to city center. + Easy hotel entry. Cons: - For someone 191cm tall, the beds are quite on the short side. - Noise from immediate hotel neighbors (coughing, talking, etc.). - Bathroom heating via an electric heater that had to be placed in the middle of the bathroom. - No toilet privacy due to swing doors. - Shower tray flooded on the first day due to a clogged drain. It was fixed properly the next day, but this resulted in a bad first-day experience. Neutral: = Noise from a nearby party in town (that's part of the experience). More minuses than pluses, and therefore 3 stars for us.

The room is very clean and in a great location! The staff are very helpful and polite, always willing to assist us. There is also a place to sit for coffee below the rooms, with reasonable prices. I highly recommend it, and I will definitely choose it again the next time I go.
