About this place Castro Café Brussels

Castro is a small gay café-bar at Rue du Marché au Charbon 94, towards the Fontainas end of the street and a few doors from Macho Sauna and Stammbar. It works as a coffee-and-beer stop in the afternoon and a place for a drink and a chat in the evening, with a terrace on the pedestrian street when the weather allows. Google lists it from 15:00 to midnight, closed on Tuesdays, and it rates 4.3 from about 120 reviews. Patroc and Bruxelles Secrète both list it among the city's gay bars. It's calmer than the bars at the Bourse end of the street, which makes it a good first stop of the night.

Stumbled upon this place, really cheap beers and a decent selection on tap. Huge bowl of condoms right at the entry of the bar and rather explicit posters in the bathroom. Rather interesting. Dog friendly bar.
