Bois de la Cambre / Ter Kamerenbos

The Bois de la Cambre (Ter Kamerenbos), the large wooded park on the southern edge of Brussels bordering Ixelles and Uccle, has a long-standing reputation as an after-dark gay cruising spot, particularly along the quieter paths and the Dreve de Lorraine end that runs into the adjoining Foret de Soignes. Belgium is one of the most LGBTQ-accepting countries in the world and the area is tolerated rather than official. Activity is discreet and concentrated in the evening and at night. Common-sense safety applies: it is an unlit woodland after dark, so tell someone where you are, keep valuables secure, stay on paths you can find your way out of, and respect that this is also a public family park by day.
