Hotel Palác Elektra

👩🏻‍💼❌ Terrible receptionist! The hotel is in the center, which is both its advantage and disadvantage, of course it depends on what you are going to do here. Either way, be prepared for the fact that you may have tram tracks under your windows (depending on which side of the hotel you are on), so there will be vibrations day and night. The rooms are otherwise pretty standard for a 3*, except that ours was a fairly steep path through the second exterior entrance (you go out from the reception), an elevator, a corridor and a gallery, but you get used to it. 🛎️ The receptionist, however, gets a solo rating of -2 stars from us! After 5 minutes of waiting and talking to each other about the receptionist, we did not hear an answer to the greeting “Hello”, but “you have to wait now, I have already turned off the computer” (it was 19:20). When we asked where to park, we got an arrogant answer that we could probably see the signs there from when to when you can park and who it is for and that she didn't know (so thanks for the advice from a local when you have no idea where you can park in the center). When we asked about breakfast, we got a dry "on weekends there is breakfast at CrossCafé, you don't have it included" 🤦‍♂️ and I could go on for a while. Just a tired old lady. 🥐 When we talk about breakfast, you pay 190/person/day in addition to accommodation, but you can go to the adjacent café during the week and to CrossCafé 300 m from the hotel on the weekend (where unfortunately I don't know what you get, because we didn't find out).

Unfortunately, it is a place with the same name as a public transport stop, there is nothing to describe (an unfortunate combination of two completely disparate places)

Receptionist!!! That was a huge bummer! I arrived at the accommodation and it was raining quite a bit, the lady had a group of children there and told me to go wait somewhere else and come back in 15 minutes! (I really should go wait outside in the winter and rain). After 15 minutes, when the lady started paying attention to me, I warned the lady several times that I was in a real hurry for a work event! The rooms are not right next to the reception, but you have to go around the building! I was given building C and a chip to open! The chip didn't work, I had to go back to the reception, I got a second chip, it didn't work again... Long phone calls somewhere outside... Then I was given building A and another chip saying that it was a spare room and I would be on the floor with about twenty children... Did the lady really give me a spare room for 1800? Well, ok, I didn't have time to deal with this! The chip didn't work again, this whole thing took maybe 45 minutes! I went back to the reception in the rain again, saying that it couldn't be done! The lady was very rude and arrogant, that it had never been a problem! Finally, after an hour, the receptionist got up and went to solve it. Of course, the door wouldn't open, what a surprise... The receptionist was going back to the reception for some special card that I didn't have at all to open the door... When I asked her how I was going to open the door in the evening, she told me that I should try... So we were finally in building A and the receptionist decided to send me back to building C so that she wouldn't have to fix it in the calculator. This whole thing took an hour and a quarter and of course I was late for the work meeting and I kept repeating that I was really in a hurry...
