UP&DOWN is a late-night gay bar and club in Zizkov, on Seifertova, in the space that was for years the well-known Pinocchio. It runs on two levels - hence the name - with a bar above and a darker club area below, and keeps late hours, opening in the afternoon and running into the early morning. It pulls a mixed local-and-visitor crowd and is one of the reliable options once the Vinohrady bars wind down. Formerly known as Pinocchio.

I’m writing this review as I’ve seen many negative things about the bartenders and vibes in recent comments. This place is great… if you want an authentic Prague bar and night club experience this is the place for you. The lady who bartends is great she’s just no nonsense and the guy with glasses is super nice. Beers are the correct price and the locals will talk to you. Wish I could have spent more time here I will be back!
