Hotel Victor

Once inside its a charming older building with very nice and helpfull staff.

Hotel Victor is located in Žižkov, quite close to the city center. Its glory days are behind it, but if you're looking for a budget option to just crash and explore the area all day, it's a good choice. Its vintage decor undoubtedly gives it a touch of Old Prague. The receptionists are friendly and speak English fluently. A big plus is its own restaurant/brewery, where you can enjoy excellent beer. The restaurant currently has a new owner, and after changing its name to "Odessa," the cuisine has been enriched with Georgian dishes and wines. I recommend the very good breakfasts – for 200 crowns you can enjoy a delicious bacon omelet (coffee included!), but I recommend letting us know the day before if you'd like breakfast at 9:00 AM.

Nice old hotel and in good location, the staff was very polite, the furniture a littel old but funcional had a problem with hot water first day of our stay but next day was fixed

Amazing place, the rooms were very spacious and it was conveniently located close to the bus and train station. City centre was a 20 min walk or alternatively bus located right next to the place. Inside it felt like we entered another era, interesting interior space and very friendly staff. Little detail, I enjoyed the old keys and the system of leaving the key to the reception, old-school but matched the style of the hotel. During our travel they were the only hotel that were happy to help us with the laundry with a small charge and were happy to assist with questions we may had. I would definitely go back to stay there.
